Kristen Lein

Site Director at Giraffe Laugh in Kuna

I was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to California to attend college. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology, and began my professional career working one on one with children with special needs, focusing on behavior management. Shortly after graduating, I took a break from the behavior field and went to work as a paralegal, however, it didn’t take long for me to realize that my true passion was working with children. I entered into the Early Education field in 2014 and quickly knew it was where I was meant to be. I have worked in all roles from assistant teacher to Director. My favorite thing about working with children is seeing how curious they are about everything. I love observing what they are drawn to and figuring out ways to scaffold and enhance their learning opportunities. I was drawn to Giraffe Laugh because of their commitment to providing quality education and strong support systems for children, families and the community. I am so happy I have the opportunity to work here.

My husband and I moved with my mom to Idaho in 2023 to be closer to his family. I have two step children who still reside in California, and two fur babies here at home. I love to explore new places, take road trips and get together with friends and family.
