Krista Holdridge

Events Coordinator

Krista grew up in Paradise, California, before moving to Boise at the age of seven when her dad took a job at Albertsons Corporate Office. She spent a year at St. Joe’s, completed her elementary education at St. Mary’s, and graduated from Bishop Kelly High School, where she met her future husband—though they didn’t realize it at the time. Krista went on to earn a degree in Mass Communication/Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from Boise State University.

After graduation, during the economic downturn, she pivoted to teaching K-8 PE at St. Mary’s, where she discovered her passion for education and how pivotal a teacher’s approach can be to a child’s success and self-esteem. Continuing her commitment to learning, she pursued and completed a Master’s in Organizational Communication at Boise State.

With over a decade of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions and project management, Krista has always been dedicated to giving back to her community. She currently serves on St. Mary’s PTO and remains deeply committed to supporting the Treasure Valley, particularly through initiatives that support families and children in need.

Married for eight years, Krista is a proud mom to two young boys, ages six and three. Raised by an early childhood educator, she knows firsthand the importance of quality education and the lasting impact that dedicated teachers can have. That’s why she is thrilled to be part of Giraffe Laugh’s mission to support families and strengthen the community.

In her free time, Krista enjoys family time at their cabin in Donnelly, traveling with her husband to San Francisco—where they cheer on their favorite team, the Giants—and exploring Boise with her boys. She also loves running and yoga. In addition to being an active volunteer as a class mom, she helps at the Boise State Children’s Center where her youngest attends.

Krista is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families, and she remains a steadfast advocate for high-quality education, community involvement, and creating lasting connections.
