On every playground since the late 1800s children have been daring one another. Each challenge could then be double-dog dared, triple-dog dared, quadruple-dog dared, then it all commenced into cursing!
Our 2022 theme is Be Daring.
From one playground kid to another, I double-dog dare you to be brave for young families in our community. I triple-dog dare you to dream a big dream with us for young children. I quadruple-dog dare you to believe in the magic that happens in early childhood through our mission. I will not curse at you now (or yet) because I know the bravery each of you holds in your hearts for our work.
With spring upon us in full force, and the plants budding so rapidly I can almost hear them, I feel renewed in our mission to ensure school readiness, empower families and build strong futures. Graduation is approaching, and our little budding architects, engineers, nurses, artists, and accountants are taking off into the world soon. They couldn’t have done that without many of you.
I am daring to be hopeful about our future at Giraffe Laugh. We are in the process of a strategic plan, and if you haven’t had a chance to give us your feedback, I dare you to take a moment and make your voice heard by participating in our process.
